Corpus christi ---- need suggestions.

Hi,

we will be on a roadtrip from fort worth ..will take 2 day stay in San Antonio and will leave for corpus christi on 28th early morning...plan to visit the aquarium on that day and then downtown & some shopping that evening/night.

Next day plan to visit the Lexington early and then beach time at North padre seashore..will leave for Austin on the same day...for night stay.

Need some suggestions if this plan sounds good with a 2yr old..how will be water & wind conditions around this time near the beach...also any interesting events during these 2 days that should not be missed..good restaurants around these places.. Mostly will be staying nearby downtown..any good hotel options?
